Jazz Band

This class is for any instrumental music student who is interested in playing jazz.  The class will focus on intermediate jazz repertoire.  Students interested in participating in this class should have had at least two years playing experience on their instrument. Sparta reputation for producing some of the finest Jazz Musicians in New Jersey starts with this ensemble - take advantage of the opportunity. This class will perform in the Concert.

This course is appropriate for the following types of students:

- Strong Beginning to Intermediate Alto, Tenor and Baritone Saxophone players
- Strong Beginning to Intermediate Trumpet Players
- Strong Beginning to Intermediate Trombone, Euphonium and Tuba Players
- Strong Beginning to Intermediate Keyboard/Piano Players
- Intermediate Guitar Players
- Strong Beginning to Intermediate String & Electric Bass Players
- Strong Beginning to Intermediate Drumset Drummers
- Students Who are Interested in Playing in the Jazz Style
- Students Who Might be Interested in Jamming or Improvising
- Students Who Need an Outlet for All Their Extra Musical Energy


Enrollment is Unlimited but at Least Two Years of Experience on the 
Student's Musical Instrument is Recommended.
