sparta summer arts workshop:
Student-in-training application

Thank you for your interest in being a member of the Sparta Summer Arts Workshop team.  Our Students-In-Training are an integral part of the workshop process; they are high school students to whom the younger students respect and want to emulate. The Student-In-Training position is a partial scholarship for the workshop, reflecting our philosophy of cross-instruction between students' ages. As a S.I.T. you would schedule and attend the workshop classes as a regular student with the expectation that you will be asked to mentor younger students or assist in other ways. We consider the S.I.T. position to be a strong prerequisite for consideration in the Teaching Assistant.
Our expectations from you are a positive attitude, respect for everyone and everything and a willingness to assist other students when necessary. The application form is below.
