Sparta summer arts workshop volunteers

The Sparta Summer Arts Workshop always needs volunteers for certain tasks. They are pretty specific and not particularly time consuming but they make a big difference; mostly because it's something we don't have to think about and that's huge.
We understand that you might be able to commit only a little time but every time contribution is valuable and we appreciate every moment. Additionally, the kindness and concern for the program means a lot to us as well. You'll be spending quality time with dedicated teachers and talented students.
Carpool coordinator: You might have noticed on the registration form a question about carpooling. If the answer was "yes" then maybe you would be the person to assist our families in putting together carpools. We will give you the necessary contact information as well as the general area of where the families live. The rest is up to you.
Guides: The first day of the workshop is always a little scary for some of our younger students; new school, new faces, new instructors. We need sympathetic parents to join us for the first hour on the first three Mondays to guide our newer students around and make them feel comfortable.
Media Coordinator: We like publicity whenever possible and we need someone who would like to be a liaison between the workshop and the various media outlets in the area (Sparta Independent, NJ Herald, Associated Press, CNN) who would be interested in a story of local amazingness.
Refreshments (Final Arts Evening and Last Day): Everybody loves refreshments, right? During the Final Arts Evening and on the last day of the Workshop, we need a few volunteers to assist in purchasing and distributing refreshments. You will be reimbursed by the workshop for your expenses including travel (unless you'd like to donate them - we won't say no)
Photographer/Videographer: Since we have two Digital Photography classes, we get plenty of pictures during the workshop but we could always use more. And the Final Arts Evening is an excellent opportunity to capture some of the finest performances on the planet (okay, only a little bit of hyperbole).
Whatever: Sometimes we don't even know our own needs. If you can think of something else and would like to help us with it, let us know. Or maybe we'll just call you out of the blue. We're that creative.
